Van Gogh—Vineyards at Auvers Poster

Vincent van Gogh painted *Vineyards at Auvers* in June 1890 in Auvers-sur-Oise, where he spent the final weeks of his life. After leaving Saint-Rémy and traveling north, Van Gogh painted Auvers’s old houses, vineyards, and rural landscape with great creative fervor; he produced nearly seventy paintings in just about two months. In this work, the winding rows of vines in the foreground cover nearly the entire surface, while red poppies and distant rooftops shimmer amid the dense greenery. These vibrant, undulating brushstrokes—characteristic of Van Gogh’s late period—transform a serene vineyard landscape into a scene of nature that is internally dynamic and constantly shifting.
